Avalon town Fire Chief Jimmy Brown, who has earned extensive knowledge and certifications in environmental safety, is opening AdvantaClean of Ellis County in Avalon. The new business will officially open Monday, Dec. 11, at 403 Powell St. Brown is the independent owner.

AdvantaClean, the recognized leader in creating healthier home and business Environments, will serve Ellis, Hill and Navarro counties

“I am pleased and eager to bring the AdvantaClean brand to Ellis County, as well as our surrounding counties,” said Brown. “There is nothing comparable to AdvantaClean in this market, and I will be working to make sure that its  well-earned reputation for innovation in creating cleaner, healthier and more efficient home and business environments is continued through our operations.”

AdvantaClean has been in business since 1994 and has become the nation’s fastest-growing light environmental services company by focusing on moisture control, emergency water removal, mold remediation, and HVAC cleaning. These four services comprise a singular package of emergency and scheduled services not offered by other restoration franchise companies, to preserve and restore homes and businesses.

Brown has worked for 17 years for a local company, overseeing the removal and disposal of chemicals from various sites in six states.

The married father of three will also continue to serve as Avalon’s fire chief, a position he’s held since 2007, as well as maintain his position on the town’s water board.

“I love serving my community,” Brown said, “and bringing AdvantaClean to the area gives me a greater opportunity to do so, by helping protect them from different kinds of indoor environmental hazards.“
