President and Chief Executive Officer, Home Franchise Concepts

Scott joined HFC September 2019. He has an extensive background in franchise management and the franchise business model, as well as a successful history leading a JM Family business. In addition, Scott understands the JM culture and will be a strong ambassador for the “JM Family Way” at HFC. Scott’s focus is to support our franchisees and enable them to successfully serve homeowners in their markets through the brands they know and love.




Chief Development Officer

A 28-year veteran of the franchise world, Jonathan “JT” Thiessen started with Home Franchise Concepts in 2003 as a Franchise Licensing Advisor. Now as the Chief Development Officer, he is responsible for the strategic planning, direction, and franchise growth of Home Franchise Concepts’ four brands: Budget Blinds, Tailored Living, Concrete Craft, and AdvantaClean.





Chief Marketing Officer

Heather joined us in October of 2019. Heather most recently served as the Head of Marketing at Tillys; a leading specialty retailer rooted in an active lifestyle. Her responsibilities spanned across all consumer touchpoints from digital to creating engaging in-store experiences. Prior to Tillys, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties in Irvine, CA. Heather spent over 16 years with Mattel, Inc. serving as the Sr. Director of Marketing & Strategic Operations, Head of Global Digital, and other various senior marketing roles across their many iconic brands such as Fisher-Price™, Barbie™, Hot Wheels™, Matchbox™, and UNO™.




Chief Information Officer

Faisal Khan is Chief Information Officer of Technology at Home Franchise Concepts. He joined HFC in 2016, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership experience in IT and Business Strategy, Operations, Supply-Chain, and Chain-Management. He led numerous enterprise technology transformations, customer experience programs, and business integrations.





President, AdvantaClean

Bryan owned and operated a successful AdvantaClean franchise for 7 years and is intimate with the industry. Prior to opening his franchise, he held a number of senior leadership positions in various industries including 11 years in the national production homebuilding industry (Centex Corp, KB Home, Meritage Homes), 9 years in mid-sized manufacturing, 3 years in management consulting (Deloitte & Touche), and 8 years in the automotive industry (General Motors). Bryan is keenly aware of the challenges our franchises face as they work to grow their business. Bryan has a franchisee-first mentality, a high degree of integrity, humble leadership style, and extensive leadership and business experience.




Vice President, Training & Service Development

Chris has served AdvantaClean since 2006 in various key roles. His current role keeps him busy staying up to date on industry trends, new standards, and concepts while managing our AdvantaClean Training Program. He also manages and overseas our Regional Meetings to our owners on a yearly basis throughout the country. Chris oversees and conducts the hands-on and classroom training for all new franchise owners and provides ongoing coaching and project support for our Franchise Business Coaches and franchises nationwide. Chris has served as a Senior Project Manager for our affiliate, Loss Control and Recovery, Inc since 1999. His role has been managing and overseeing large-scale commercial, industrial and government projects across the US. He holds water and fire certifications through IICRC and is NADCA trained. He is Certified CMA & CMR for mold and holds an OSHA 10 & 30-hour certification and is an OSHA construction outreach trainer.




Vice President, Franchise Operations

Lindsay Simms has been with AdvantaClean since 2009 and currently serves as our Vice President of Franchise Operations. She previously spent 10 years as Vice President of Finance, and brings to her current role an extensive set of financial and business management skills. Her team serves as the bridge between the Home Office and our Franchises, and is focused on implementing processes and systems that yield positive results to the Owners individual businesses. She believes in teaching, mentoring and leading with a servants heart.




Sr. Director, Marketing

Billy is an accomplished Marketing Executive with 15+ years of experience in advertising, brand management, digital and traditional marketing, and public relations for agencies and clients. He spent 7 years of his career with American Airlines moving on to other brands such as J. Walter Thomson, INSPIRE! And most recently, Combate America. Billy also speaks English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian. He grew up working in his family’s small flower business and truly understands how to serve franchisees.
